We address the need to explore the inner creative self of each child, and thus enable each child their own unique expression within the context of Art. Art Sparks is an innovative way of bringing together Art and Nature opening the door to new opportunities in a natural expression. Art itself is a natural expression from the heart. It is a powerful medium of communication: it sets the imagination free, bridges language barriers and provides healing with love. Color, which is an important element in the expression of art, is also important in life as it can subconsciously affect our emotions on many levels. Art Sparks applies color in a therapeutic way to stimulate thought and action. Therefore, this artistic environment can stimulate the children’s own personal expression and possibly reveal their own hidden potential. These children are special and it is Avillion’s aim for Art Sparks to highlight this awareness in the greater community. Above all, to spark the great need to accept them as they are, see them within their own beauty, which will greatly encourage their own unique development. Art Sparks is an Avillion outreach service. And when we do so, Avillion will again offer Arts, Crafts & Nature as therapy.
